Treach Net Worth $2 Million

The band Naughty by Nature was formed in 1988 by three members including Treach, Vin Rock and DJ Kay Gee. The band debuted with the album “Independent Leaders” (1989) released under the MCA Records label, although it was not successful. The album which introduced them to a wider audience and made them recognized was the studio album released under the same name as the band “Naughty by Nature” (1991). The album peaked in 10th position of the Billboard Top R&B chart, and was certified platinum according to sales in the USA. More, it contained two outstanding singles, “O.P.P.” (1991) and “Everything’s Gonna Be Alright” (1991). The first became double platinum and topped the Billboard Top R&B. “O.P.P.” (1991) is named one of the top rap singles of all time, and is usually mentioned in various films and television series, to give examples “The Office”, “My Wife and Kids”, “Malibu’s Most Wanted”, “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” and others. These early years laid a solid foundation to Treach’s net worth.

As a result of the success of the above mentioned singles and album, the band Naughty By Nature won an American Music Award in the category of the Favourite New Artist – Rap / Hip-Hop. Their second studio album “19 Naughty III” (1993) topped the charts and was certified platinum. More, it contained the platinum single “Hip Hop Hooray” (1993). It should be noted that the singles “O.P.P.” and “Hip Hop Hooray” were nominated for Grammy Awards. In 1995, the hip hop band released the Grammy Award-winning album “Poverty’s Paradise” which, needless to say, topped the chart. The albums “Poverty’s Paradise” (1995) and “Nineteen Naughty Nine: Nature’s Fury” (1999) were certified gold. These successes also contributed significantly to Treach’s net worth

Due to many disagreements in the band Kay Gee left it which resulted in them losing their charm. Even though they reunited to perform several concerts, and later released several albums, they couldn’t reach their previous success. However, hip hop music is a significant source of Treach’s net worth.

Another source of Treach’s net worth is acting. He debuted as an actor in 1992, landing a small role in the film “Juice” directed by Ernest R. Dickerson. Later, he starred in the romantic drama “Jason’s Lyric” (1994) directed by Doug McHenry, the drama film “First Time Felon” (1997) directed by Charles S. Dutton, the gangster film “Empire” (2002) directed by Franc. Reyes, the sports comedy film “Playas Ball” (2003) directed by Jennifer Harper, the science fiction film “Atlantic Rim” (2013) directed by Jared Cohn among others. More, he landed a number of roles on television; currently, he might be seen in the third season series of “Sleepy Hollow” (2012–present).

Finally, in the personal life of Treach, he married the hip hop artist Sandra Denton in 1998; they have a daughter, but divorced in 2001. Treach’s subsequently partner since 2008 is Cicely Evans, with whom he starred in the television series “Couples Therapy” (2014), and they have two children.
